Who We Are

Helping offenders know Christ and grow in Him.

At Keys at the Cross, we believe no one is beyond redemption—no past too broken, no story too far gone for God’s grace to reach. Behind prison walls are men and women carrying deep wounds, hardened by trauma, regret, and loss, often overlooked by society and forgotten by many. Yet they have never been forgotten by God.

Our ministry exists to bring the truth and hope of Jesus Christ into places most people never go. We walk into prisons not with judgment, but with compassion—meeting offenders where they are and walking alongside them as they encounter the transforming power of the Gospel. Through relationships, discipleship, prayer, and the faithful teaching of God’s Word, we help individuals discover that their past does not define them, their chains do not have the final word, and their lives still have purpose.

Core Values

Integrity: Doing all things as unto the Lord.
Responsibility: Faithful to commitments and calling.
Character: Living as examples of Christ’s grace.
Fellowship: Building community through shared faith.
Faith: Trusting God’s plan even when unseen.
Redemption: Believing no one is beyond God’s reach.

We believe real transformation is possible. True freedom is found in Christ. And new life, no matter how unlikely it may seem, begins at the cross.

Our Mission

To proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ to those under the supervision of our prison systems. We present biblical tools by which they might grow in Christ and begin to reach their community for Him.

Our Vision

To see men and women come to salvation and spiritual maturity, learning not only who Jesus is but who they can become through Him. Just as a healthy church grows through discipleship and fellowship, our vision is to create that same community behind prison walls.

Our Heart

We serve those often forgotten; men and women shaped by hardship, trauma, and brokenness. Yet we believe they can become some of the most dynamic followers of Christ. Our role is simply to bring the light of the Gospel where others may not go.
